RESOLVE OF THE REPRESENTATION OF NEW HAMPTON

Province of New Hamptonshire House of Representatives the 27th August, 1747.

Noted that the following be sent to His Excellency the Governour in answer to his message of this day on the subject matter of Governour Shirley's letter to His Excellency with a letter from the Governour of Canada.

The House having taken into ronsideration your Exeellency's messag: of this day, are ready heartily to join with the other governments in setting a cartale agreeable to Governour Shirley's first proposal for à general exchange of prisonners between this en Canada, are willing to beut our proportionable charge with the other governments for redeeming our prisoners and when our proportionable part of the charges for the prisonners come home in the {lag of true now at present at Boston, is known we shall be ready to pay it.
