Je soussigné, Cecil Francis Lacon Watson, lieutenant dans la Marine royale, du navire de Sa Majesté « Thrush », certifie par la présente avoir relevé au sujet du bâtiment « Hindiyo », arrêté le 27 juillet 1896 comme engagé dans la traite des esclaves ou équipé à cette fin, les faits suivants :

1. Le patron et l'équipage désertèrent le bâtiment après son arrestation.

2. Six passagers furent, sur leur demande, débarqués à l'île Funzi et transportés ensuite avec leur bagages à Kifoomoni dans des canots.

I, the undersigned Cecil Francis Lacon Watson, holding the rank of Lieutenant in Her Britannic Hajesty's navy, and belonging to Her Hajesty's ship « Thrush », do hereby certify that the followîng îs a correct account of ail moneys and valuabies found on board the dhow or native vessel called the « Hindiyo », detained by me on the 27th day of July, 1896, on the ground that she was engaged in the Slave Trade, viz. :

I, Cecil Francis Lacon Watson, holding the rank of Lieutenant in Her Britannic Hajesty's h ivy, and the prize officer in charge of the « Hindiyo » vessel detained on the 27th day of July, 1896, on the ground that she was engaged in, or equipped for, the Slave Trade, by Her Majesty's ship « Thrush ».
