FORMATION OF SUBSTANTIVES WITHOUT SUFFIXES

New nouns are formed mainly by préfixes and suffixes (cf. Appendix IV. of La preinière Civisade, L Abbc Daniel, and Sacs et Parchemins in this séries), but not a few are also derived from adjectives, from présent and past participles, stems, and infinitives of verbs, from proper names, and from particles.
