THIRD YEAR IN FRENCH

THESE three books make a complète course in French, designed to train pupils not only to read, but to speak and Write the language correctly. The First Book is intended for pupils beginning the study, and consists of easy and progressive lessons. In the Second Book the gênerai plan has been so arranged as to give an almost equal space and time to reading, conversation, translation, and grammar. The Third Year in French contains reading lessons showing a marked progression, preparing the student for an intelligent study of the masterpieces of French literature. It aïso contains tables of conjugations, and of the principal irregular verbs and vocabularies.
