It has been felt for some time past that owing to the vast strides which are yearly being made in Floral Decoration in Great Britain that there was need for a book on so highly interesting a subject.

The publishers have been fortunate in securing the co-operation of Mr. KR. F. Felton to write such a book and to select and supervise the preparation of the illustrations.

As Mr. Felton's art brings him in touch with the Courts of Europe he is able to give examples of many important and interesting floral works with which he has been professionally associated.

An important feature of the book will be a complete and carefully compiled list of the best varieties of all flowers to grow for cutting and decorative purposes. Already the work has been largely subscribed by many influential people in this country.
