Directions for calling for books in the Main Library

Pile shps at the Loan Desk, unless the call number indicates that the book is in a Department Library. If a Department ’S indicated go there for the book,

At the Loan Desk you vvill be given a numbered slip. When that number appears on the electric indicator on the wall behind the Desk, your books or a report on them will be ready.

If you wish to read in the Main Reading Room, select a seat!

Write its number> on your slips, and books called for at the

Loan Desk will be delivered to that seat, if you are there to recel ve them.

The use of ink is not allowed except in fountain pens.
