LE FRANÇAIS POUR TOUS, DEUXIÈME LIVRE

The atmosphere of this book is entirely French. Its emphasis is on phrases rather than on separate words. It teaches the student to think in French, and, like the first book, it enables him to express his ideas fitly, fluently, and correctly.

There are ten units: Part One of each consists of a picture around which the work is built, a "filling in" exercise (texte à compléter), an oral exercise, verb study, transposition and composition exercises. Part Two includes a short story related to the picture, followed by a questionnaire on the story, and simple grammatical rules, with an exercise for their immediate application.
