Granit. — Quartz, feldspath, mica.

Syénite. — Feldspath, hornblende, mica.

Gneiss. — Les mêmes à éléments plus fins, la structure étant zônée.

Pegmatite. — Granit à très gros éléments où souvent le mica est absent.

Protogyne. — Quartz, feldspath, chlorite.

Porphyre. — Pâte feldspathique avec cristaux de feldspath, amphibole, quartz.

Diorite. — Feldspath plagioclase et hornblende.

Gabbro. — Feldspath plagioclase et diallage.

Diabase. — Feldspath plagioclase et pyroxène augite, à grain plus fin que le gabbro.

Anorthosite. — - Feldspath anorthite at | diallage.
