FRENCH COMPOSITIONS

THIS prose composition is based on Guerber's Contes et Légendes, Part I, which it :s planned to accompany. Hie exercises consist o£ English parallel versions of each of the twenty-fîve sélections, with the necessary indications of the correct renderings. Suggestions are afForded regarding words to be omitted and others which will aid in the translation. No vocabulary is included, since the pupil will find in the original text ail the data necessary. The principle of constant répétition found in the stories is applied throughout the exercises.
