?nd. On the day of sale the sheriff offers for sale the property seized, that is to say, amongst other thing all the rights of the judgment debtor upon the immoveable.

In order to make such offer it is essential that the sheriff should hold those rights in such a manner as to be able to convey them to the adjudicataire ; that he does so hold themis shown by the fact that in his deed he is required express|y to convey to the adjudicataire “ all the rights of the judgment debtor upon the immoveable.”
