2. Majorin is evidently waiting for some one. Whom do you think that it is?

3. He tells us that Monsieur Perrichon is to leave for Switzerland with his wife and daughter.

4. Majorin speaks to a porter and asks him at what time the Express leaves for Lyon.

5. The porter is very rude, and Majorin is obliged to look at the notice.
