9. quand il ira : the future is used in French, when the verb dénotes a future action, after conjunctions of time, e.\cept, of course, such as govern the subjunctive.

II. a du goût : after il semble que the indicative is generally used when il semble has an indirect object, and the subjunctive in the opposite case ; e.g. —
