the King, has deigned to dispense them from the law of

abstinence on Friday, the 27th June, and from the law of fasting and abstinence on the Saturday following, which is the Vigil of the Feast of SS. Peter and Paul.

But it is the desire of the Holy Father that Catholies should make up for this dispensation by the recital of certain prayers, the choice of which he remits to the judgment of your Eminence.

Your Eminence 18 also anthorized to communicate the above dispensation to the Episcopate, so that it may be duly brought to the knowledge of the faithful.
