FORME NÉGATIVE

Pour conjuguer un verbe non auxiliaire négativement, on se sert de do dans les temps simples du verbe et on le place immédiatement après le pronom (voy. Rem. G, p. 112; C, p. 206). Dans les temps composés, la négation not se place après l'auxiliaire et précède l'infinitif et les participes (voy. p. 437).
