** Wb hâve to thank Messrs. Henry Belcher and Alexander Dupuis for one of the most useful compilations recently published. It had of ten struck us that a volume contuning a sélection from the examination papers set at the various collèges, at Woolwich, Sandhortt. for the Staff Collège, the Indian Civil Service, dkc, would be a c(reat boon to teachers, first by supplying them with materiala immediately availabte; and, secondly, by setting before them models from which they coidd frame their own papers. This is precisely the merit and tho YêXvf of tîdf «xoellant roluma."— SeAooi Board Chroniele,
