The Principal Proclamation is hereby amended as follows

a) Section 4 is amended by erasing the words after « except » in the second Une and adding the words ce by non-natives who are conveying them personally and for their own use or except in the manner provided in the next succeeding section »;

b) Section 5 is amended by inserting the words <c to be shipped either directiy to themselves or to any agent on their behalf in the Protectorate » between the words ce use » and c( or » in the second line (^) ; and the words « or in the capacity of agents on behalf of any other non-native » between the words « non-native » and « may » in the third line (^) ;

6*} Schedule A is amended by adding to the first marginal note thereto after the Word ce importer » a and his agent (if any) ».

3. This Proclamation shall commence and corne into opération on the fifteenth day of September in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four.
