The Principal Proclamation is hereby amended as follows

a) In section 3 for the words « in the form » in the fifth line (i), substitute the words « in one or other of the forms » ;

b) In section 4 after the word « Résident » in the first line (9) insert the words « or in a Cantonment of the Cantonment Magistrale », and after the words ce the Résident » in the second line (3), the words « or Cantonment Magistrate » ;

c) Section 8 is repealed and the following section substituted therefor :

8. a) Licences shall be of either annual or monthly duration ;

b) Every annual licence shall, unless forbîted for breach Chereof, continue in force until the 31st Harch in the financial year for which it shall bave been granted, and every monthly licence shall, subject to the same proviso, continue in force until the last day of the month for whicb it has been granted ;

c) The schedule is struek ont and the schedule to this Proclamation is substituted.

S. This Proclamation shall commence and eome into opération on the fifteenth day of September in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine husdred and four.
