De la légende de Barlaam el Joasaph on possède trois versions françaises, toutes trois du XII/'" siècle : une anonyme; une autre par Chardri, p.p. J. Koch (Altfrallzcesi che Bibliothek, t. 1),1879; la troisième par Gui de Cambrai, p.p. H. Zotenberg et P. Meyer (Bibliothek des literarischen Vereins in Stuttgart, t, LXXV), 1864.
