The Prince Régent havîng been graciously pleased to command, in the name and on the behalf of His Majesty, that you should be permitted to bear a Medal commemorative of the Battle of Chateauguay, I hâve the vSatisf action to transmit to you the Medal, which, with the Approbation of His Royal Highness, has been struck for the occasion, and to désire that you acknowledge the receipt of it.
