By these same presents and as à condition of the above lease, Mr B reserves the faculty of purchasing, and Mr A... promises to sell him, the above described property with all its appurtenances.

Jufin il est convenu que, duns le cas où le bail ci-dessus serait résolu pour quelque motif que ce soit, cette résiliation emporterait de plein droit la résolution de la présente promesse de vente, qui serait alors considérée comme nulle et non avenue.

If the said sale is not demanded within the above stipulated delay, this promise of sale shall become ipso facto null and void.

It is also umderstood and agreed that, in the case of the above lease being annulled for any motive whatsoever, such nullity shall involve the resiliation of the above stipulated promise of sale, which in such ‘ase shall be considered as null and void.
