The survivor of the said future consorts shall take and retain by way of preciput, before any partition of the moveables of the community, such of them as he or she may choose, to the value of... dollars, at the valuation fixed in the inventory which will be made thereof, or an equal sum in cash, at his or her option.

In the event of renunciation to the community by the said Miss B....., or her heirs, she, or they, will have the right to take and recover, whatever she may have brought with her at the time of the said marriage, or acquired during the same, by succession, donation, legacy or otherwise, and should such renunciation be made by the said Miss Bin , She will be moreover entitled to the preciput above stipulated.

The said future consorts hereby mutually donate to one another, both accepting thereof, the usufruct or enjoyment of all the moveable and immoveable property and effects belonging to the predeceased, comprising his or her share in the said community; to have and to hold, use and enjoy the same for life, without being bound to give security; this donation, however, will take effect only in the event of the survivor remaining unmarried, and cn condition that, at the death of the predecensed there be none of their children living or to be born, nor direct descendants of their said children ; nevertheless if, there being children, they happen all to die in minority, or before being emancipated by marriage or judicially, this donation shall resume its force and effect as if they had never existed.
