Ce mélange de mots communs à vingt-cinq différens peuples asiatiques est vraiment surprenant ; mais il est encore plus surprenant que parmi tous les peuples de là terre il n'en existe pas un qui ait reçu tant de noms différens que les Magyars j car les historiens les appellent tantôt Ungar, Ungher, Hungar, Unn, Hunn , Ugor, Uhri, Vengher, Turkoï ou Turcs, Ugroï, Denlu-Mogher, Gher, Avar, Zavar, Zabar, Gangarides, Outigour, Mazar, Magyar, Madjar, Agarènes , Saracins , Ismaélites , Mogar, Mahjar, Indiens , Abyssiniens , finalement Mogar.

A celte occasion j'engage les philologues à remarquer qu'il se trouve dans la langue persane une quaiililé de mots

latius , allemands , angl ais , hongrois , etc. ; en voici un petit échantillon :
