225. La signification d'un avis.spécial donné par écrit se fait en laissant une copie de l'avis à l'individu auquel il est adressé, en personne, ou à une personne raisonnable à son domicile ou à sa place d’affaires, même à celle qu’il occupe en société avec une autre personne, sauf le cas où cette signification est faite par la poste.
226. Tout avis spécial par écrit adressé à un propriétaire ou contribuable absent, qui s'est nommé un agent résidant dans la municipalité, doit être signifié à cet agent de la même manière qu'à un propriétaire présent.
A défaut de la nomination d’un agent qui réside dans la municipalité, la signification de tout tel avis se fait en en déposant une copie au bureau de poste de la localité, sous enveloppe cachetée et enrégistrée à l'adresse du propriétaire ou contribuable absent, ou à tout autre agent, s’il en a nommé.
227. L'avis spécial et verbal est communiqué par la personne qui doit le donner ou de: sa part, à l'individu auquel il s'adresse en personne, ou à une personne raisonuab.e à sou domicile ou à sa place d’affaires, pourvu que cet individu soit domicilié dans les limites de la municipalité.
