Second volume du théâtre de Musset (Charpentier, 1888) : Lorenzaccio, drame en cinq actes où Lorenzo de Médicis, compagnon de débauche du duc Alexandre, joue un double jeu dans la Florence de 1536, suivi de la chronique florentine qui l'inspira ; puis Le Chandelier, où le clerc Fortunio sert de paravent aux amours de Jacqueline, et Il ne faut jurer de rien, avec les variantes écrites pour la scène en 1848.
